This happens all the time.
It was a British documentary, I saw not too long ago about this brother and sister who fell "in love" and have 3 children. 2 out of 3 are mentally retarded. Were pregnant with a 4th. Social Services try to prevent more children, because the combination of DNA from 2 individuals of the same family often mental retardation and other congenital anomalies causes, but technically they were not abusing their children so that they more and more children will go with defects / deformation.
Occurs not only in poor or "Redneck" places. People of all classes are in incest.
All of this happens when, why babies have associated mental disorders and other conditions ....
If yes, probably every day in Third World countries. Most babies will die of complications due to DNA incest.
Unfortunately, it happens.
